About Us
Cluney Constructions Pty Ltd is an environmentally responsible construction company specialising in the school portable program in Victoria. Our work is primarily in the construction of access ramps to classrooms along with stairs, decks and bigger link decks enabling transition areas for students in and out of their classrooms.
At Cluney Constructions we pride ourselves on always being on the front foot of not only innovation and design, but also creating a safe workplace for both employees and clients. As well as being environmentally conscious in our approach.
All staff are required to have Working with Children checks.
Staff wear high-visibility uniforms which are clearly identifiable when on site.
Cluney Constructions vehicles are sign written with our logo so you will know that it is us on site.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by using solar power, recycling steel and planting trees. In the future we will continue to find ways to further reduce our environmental impact.
Our Expertise
At Cluney Constructions Pty Ltd we understand schools. We limit our time on site and manufacture off site to decrease inconvenience to students, staff and other key stakeholders.
When you order a building solution from Cluney Constructions Pty Ltd we come to site and measure what is required. We then do the majority of the construction off-site. This eliminates days and sometimes weeks of inconvenience to the school by having trades, vehicles, cranes etc around people.
Once the off-site construction is complete, we return to site with a pre-fabricated product allowing us to do a timely installation that reduces disruption as much as possible. In many cases the installation process only takes one day.
Accessibility Ramps
Our steel framed ramps are custom built to meet accessibility codes and Australian standards, made to measure to meet your specifications. They are a great alternative to stairs to gain access in and out of a classroom.
Stairs
Stairs, like all of our products are made to measure so they are just right for your building. Complete with handrails, stairs are a cost-effective solution to gain access to a classroom.
Link Decks
Sometimes things are just better together. Our custom links join two classrooms together by way of a deck. This can be a cost-effective solution to allow ramp access to more than one building. These decks are not only practical, they look great too. Turning a portable classroom into a more aesthetically pleasing structure.
Large Decks
Need more than two buildings joined? Or perhaps you want to place a larger deck in between two buildings? Then the large deck is for you. The large decks enable a really good area for students to connect without ever putting their feet on the ground. Large decks are used in many applications and can be left open or enclosed to create a ‘gallery’ type situation. The options are endless.
